When Harley Davidson commissioned Ken Taylor to come up with a symbiotic representation of rider and bike Ken combined a background in medical illustration with a passion for heavy duty machinery and the spawn of this is on show below.

The Mural hangs in the NSW head office of Harley Davidson at over 3 meters tall. Illustrating a mural that people are exposed to every moment of every day as opposed to an advertisement that someone might see once in the weekend paper or several times in a month as part of a campaign requires a certain sympathy. Respecting that people are either going to feel impressed by it or subjected to it is the first step in sympathizing with the audience.
