The following illustrations are a series of self portraits by Chris Wahl depicting the artist as they would appear moments after receiving information from the client that the deadline has been brought forward.
No, seriously, the brief came in from Banjo Advertising on behalf of Zodiac Pumps. The Pump is actually used by the Navy to draft water used in order to extinguish bushfires so they wanted to visually communicate how powerful the pump was. What better way than to print out 7ft high charging Zodiacs to be used as POS.
Once we knew the brief it didn't take long to think of the perfect artist, because when it comes to drawing charging behemoths there's no better illustrator than Chris Wahl.
