In one week Melbourne will play host to a very cool little exhibition of talent at the Gorker Gallery in Fitzroy. It's a collaborative event between the hardworking creative minds at Wooden Toy and Semi Permanent. The theme of the exhibition is visual translations of song lyrics from the past by today's leading illustrators, designers and typographers.
We are very happy they selected Ken Taylor to exhibit at the show and encourage everyone to make their way to Fitzroy Friday the 9th of October to stand infront of Ken's striking interpretation of The Grateful Dead's lyric, "All I know is something like a bird within her sang."
Of course if, like us, you are stuck interstate for this unique event we wouldn't want you to miss out on seeing Ken's work so we have posted it below. However, like music itself, artwork is best appreciated live.
