Ken Taylor moved out of his cozy zone for DDB Melbourne and stepped up to do a series of biro line drawings for APIA's recent TV campaign. Any illustrator will tell you that the simplist illustrations are often the most intimidating. Raw line work gives you no place to hide. With less lines and no colours to work with the fluidity and placement of every line is all the more important.

As you can see below Ken provided the line work separated into parts so that DDB Melbourne could animate them into the final TVC. Our hat goes off to Editor and motion graphic designer Damian Dunne for doing such a great job of the final edit.

Thank you to Art Director, James Barkley for a challenging concept to work on and to Lee Harrington for her cucumber cool assistance managing the process.

If you are interested in seeing the actual animations please contact us and we can send you an MPEG.
